Polderbos

Polderbos is an initiative of several units including; Education Center (collaboration with Yuverta college), Food Forest, Memory Forest, Herb-rich Grassland (maintenance by farmer from the neighborhood) and Employees with a distance to the labor market/Profilia work on Thursdays to do a bit of maintenance (a public food forest really does need this is our experience, the lazy farmer is unknown to us...). Years ago we started applying and working out the plans. 2 years ago the first planting phase could begin. This year the 3rd planting phase is about to begin. We observe the differences and try to map this through citizen science. Students have also been approached to turn this into a project.
