For the past two years De BosBoerderij has been brewing a Year-Long Training in Syntropic Farming!

What started as questions in the field—How do we adapt syntropic agroforestry to temperate climates? How do we grow abundance while regenerating soil?—has evolved into a comprehensive learning experience. We’ve tested, observed, failed, succeeded, and distilled everything into a program that takes you from the foundational principles all the way to managing your own thriving syntropic system. Together with different experts, participants will learn all the steps to run a syntropic farm.

Program format:

– 9 intensive training days + 80 hours of field-based work (scheduled at your own pace)
– 5 progressive modules following the natural seasons
– Monthly online forum for ongoing support and community connection
– Dual language, sessions in English with Dutch translation
– Maximum 14 participants for personalized attention

This course is a full year of hands-on learning, real farm challenges, the latest advancements in temperate climate syntropic farming, and a community of growers who are ready to farm differently. It is designed for people who want to work with syntropic farming in the Netherlands or similar temperate climates, following a full seasonal cycle and learning at a realistic, and seasonal pace.
