Food from the forest projects

Projects can be big, a multi-year grant for example, but also very small: help translate the site, for example, or help out in one of our provincial groups. Whenever we can give something a head and a tail, a beginning and an end or a concrete roadmap, we call it a project here, on this page.

For combining food forest forces

These projects are aimed at realizing the wishes of the food forest movement, such as establishing the chain, contributing to science and developing tools and infrastructure. They contribute to our broad goals and combine food forest forces, including with external parties. This happened, for example, through the development of a food forest recipe tool, business cases and a citizen science project, in cooperation with partners such as Stichting Voedselbosbouw, Stichting De Lynx and the WUR.

The projects are open to everyone: individuals (member or non-member), organizations, governments and companies. Everyone can participate by contributing time, money, knowledge or experience, for example. They provide space for collaboration and growth, where we can find each other, discover solutions and share them widely for the whole community. Interested parties can apply or contact us for more information on how to contribute or initiate a project.
