Project information
Name of food forest
Food Forest The Berry Hump
Description
As volunteers, we have been working for some time to develop the Alinghoek Nature Park for more biodiversity. The idea to develop part of this nature park with a food grove came about because a food grove is a nice counterpart to the monoculture you see these days. With a food grove we want to make people aware of what is possible on a small piece of land. To show how to initiate (or restore) resilient soil life. The Natuurparkje Alinghoek is publicly accessible and the edible produce from the food forest can (eventually) be picked by residents. Planting day was Nov. 13, 2021.
