Matchmaking: Future farmers for food forest movement sought

ReGeneration Foundation and partners seek future farmers!

ReGeneration Foundation designs and develops complex agroforestry systems (including food forests!). We are working towards 5 pilot projects for the next 3 years. We are looking for future farmers with vision for our various locations who want to make a long-term commitment to - and care for - a place where nature, agriculture and community come together. Future farmer profile

• Theoretical knowledge of and practical experience with regenerative agriculture, specifically:
  • Agroforestry and horticulture
  • Community supported agriculture
  • Enterprise
• Possibility of transportation to-or residence near-the sites.
• Commitment to relate local community
• Willing to engage in long-term connection with landowners, research and knowledge sharing with the foundation
• Transparency about assets and income
• Own financial contribution or cooperation in acquisition of external funding
• An advantage but not a requirement are:
  • Willingness to commit a minimum time commitment of ½ FTE
  • Affinity for education
