For these first two editions, the association is collaborating with the team from De Voedselboskeuken, which has several years of experience organizing food forest dinners. You can expect a fully plant-based dinner, prepared with ingredients that will also be found in future Dutch food forests. Between courses, we’ll talk about the harvest, the system, and how these ingredients can be used in the kitchen.
We are organizing two different events in June: one in North Holland and one in Gelderland, each with its own unique atmosphere and price. This is the season when early berries ripen and edible leaves and flowers can be found everywhere—and, for those who look closely, all sorts of refined flavorings are hidden within them.

Will you help organize it next time?
Next time, we’d love to organize a dinner in a different province. Would you like to help with the planning, or do you know of a suitable location that combines a food forest with a kitchen? We welcome anyone interested in joining us. Please contact Anje Poortman (06 3627 9442).
Or send an email to info@voedseluithetbos.nl.
