If you first want to get acquainted with Food from the Forest and what is possible on this platform, you can always -and completely free of charge- create a participant account.
With this account you can put your food forest on our food forest map, connect and chat with other participants, post on Q&A, and participate in food forest monitoring and create your own food forest budgets.

Together with Wageningen University, we have developed a tool to monitor your food forest. You can compare your forest on quite a few points with other food forests of the same age and soil type.

You can also join the association
As an organization, we’re working to grow so we can create more food forests in the Netherlands and inspire and support people through our knowledge and community. You can become a member for as little as 35 euros a year—this helps us in our mission and gives you access to more knowledge and our annual organization day, among other benefits.

Through our registration form you can easily sign up.
As a member, you can do everything you can do as an attendee, but in addition, there are a few extras. For example, as a member you can attend live knowledge sessions and ask questions of the speakers. Some articles from the knowledge base are only available to members and as a member you can come for free to our annual association day where you can attend workshops, get a tour, listen to speakers and meet lots of other members.
As a member you contribute to our growth with your dues. The more members the more knowledge we can gain and share and the stronger we become as a movement.
There are no prerequisites to become a participant. The association is for anyone who is a fan of food forests or wants to learn more about them.
